I took “Popcorn” – and put it through the mincer. What used to be playful is now pure speed: hard kicks, distorted MC vocals rattling through the track like machine-gun fire, and almost ghostly female ad-libs floating above it all. Nostalgia meets loss of control. The track deliberately plays with contrasts: frantic vs. ethereal, brutal vs. hypnotic. You recognise the original – but it feels as though it’s chasing you. This isn’t a remix. It’s an escalation.
